Serving Size: Good for 2 to 3 people
Calories: 150 per serving
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 scoop Whey Isolate Protein Powder
- 1 cup egg whites (about 8 eggs)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 whole banana, mashed
Step 1: Blend the Ingredients
Place the mashed banana, oatmeal, protein powder and egg whites in a food processor or blender. Mix them together until they form a smooth, rich blend.
Then, place the mixture in a bowl and add in the chocolate chips.
Step 2: Prepare the Frying Pan
Coat a medium-sized frying pan with low-fat cooking spray and place over a low to medium heat. Once the pan starts to heat up, start scooping about two to three tablespoons of batter to form one pancake.
Step 3: Cook the Pancakes
Cook each side of the pancake for about one to two minutes until they turn golden brown. Store any leftovers in a meal prep container and place in a refrigerator to retain freshness.
To make things easier, prepare the batter ahead of time and then store it in meal prep containers. That way, fitness buffs simply have to spend around five minutes frying up their healthy, protein-infused breakfast.
