The Perfect Iced Coffee Protein Shake For A Tasty Post-Workout Snack

Feeling the full effects of a workout? Drinking a protein shake right after a workout has a ton of benefits. This 4-ingredient post-workout protein shake is ideal for boosting your energy levels and helps repair your muscles after a tough workout. 

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 shots of espresso (depending on preference) 
  • 1 scoop Whey Protein (Vanilla or Chocolate flavoured) 
  • 250ml milk (almond, coconut or oat milk work well) 
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • Crushed cacao nibs (optional) 

Method:

Step 1: To make this quick and easy iced coffee protein shake, simply place the coffee, protein powder, milk and ice into the blender and mix until you reach the desired consistency. 


Tip: Alternatively, you can blend the ingredients without the ice, and add it afterwards if you prefer a slightly thinner texture. 


Step 2: Pour the mixture into a tall glass or shaker, top with a pinch of crushed cacao nibs (if using) and enjoy!
